Sulu SDO bags overall winner of 2022 Brigada Eskwela best implementer

The Sulu Schools Division Office (SDO) was hailed as the overall winner in the recently-conducted 2022 Brigada Eskwela Best Implementers Awarding Ceremony held January 21, at Cotabato State University.

The 2022 Brigada Eswela Program, with the theme “Brigada Eskwela:Tugon sa Hamon ng Ligtas na Balik-Aral”, highlights the collective efforts of schools, partners, and stakeholders at the different levels to address learning gaps and social issues.

Assessed based on school prepation efforts, partnership engagement activities, impact to school performance, resources generated, and actual implementation, the Ministry of Basic, Higher and Technical Education has recognized implementing schools who stood out and were exemplary.

Participating schools were categorized as Mega, Large, Medium, and Small depending on the number of teachers and curricular offering.

These awardees received plaques and cash prizes to support operation and maintenance of their schools. First placers received Php 50,000.00, second placers Php 35,000.00, third placers Php 20,000.00, and Php 10,000.00 for qualifiers.

More than these monetary prizes, the true success is that communities, stakeholders, and local government units truly understand the need to synergize and co-create in the delivery of quality education for all learners in the Bangsamoro.
