The Ministry of Basic, Higher and Technical Education’s (MBHTE) Directorate General for Technical Education awarded training allowances and tool kits to 1,859 Balik Barangay training beneficiaries from the 11 barangays of Patikul, Sulu.

Said beneficiaries were under the following training areas with the corresponding allowance:

1. 250 trainees (Basic Solar [Off Grid] lighting and charging system – Php 2,300)

2. 425 trainees (Plant crops – Php 2,840)

3. 75 trainees (Perform Multiple Plumbing Installation and Repair Maintenance Works – Php 4,820)

4. 400 trainees (Dressmaking NC II – Php 9,480)

5. 200 trainees (Driving NC II – Php 4,540)

6. 84 trainees (Cake Making – Php 4,620)

7. 150 trainees (Prepare and Cook Hot Meals – Php 7,680)

8. 200 trainees (Electrical Installation and Maintenance (EIM) NC II – Php 6,880)

9. 75 trainees (Overhaul Motorcycle/Small engine – Php 7,420)
