The Ministry of Basic, Higher and Technical Education (MBHTE) conducted today, December 1, the turnover ceremony for the completed 2-storey with 10-classroom school building project at the Municipality of Datu Anggal Midtimbang, in the Province of Maguindanao del Sur, amounting to Php 20,636,243.95.
Said building, constructed for the learners of Datu Anggal Midtimbag Memorial National High School, can accommodate a maximum of 650 students and was subsidized under the Special Development Fund 2020.
Minister Mohagher Iqbal has always emphasized that the construction of these school buildings in the region epitomizes the ministry’s dedication to providing the best and safest learning facilities for the students while effectively utilizing public funds.
The provision of school building projects was in line with the 12-point priority agendas of the MBHTE towards promoting accessibility of quality education.
Additionally, it was the result of the continuous monitoring and evaluation activities of the EFS which aimed to identify infrastructure needs and ensure better educational experience of learners at all levels.
