The Ministry of Basic, Higher and Technical Education (MBHTE) turned over today, December 12, speed boats to the schools divisions of Sulu and Tawi-Tawi.
These vehicles, funded under the Transitional Development Impact Fund (TDIF) are expected to be utilized for transport of Sulu and Tawi-Tawi SDO officials.
Minister Iqbal underscored the essential components necessary for ensuring the delivery of quality education in the region, emphasizing the pivotal role of competent teachers, the availability of adequate supplies and facilities, and the imperative of maintaining peace and order within the community.
In his acceptance message, Sulu Schools Division Superintendent Dr. Kiram Irilis expressed his gratitude to the MBHTE and Bangsamoro Transition Authority (BTA) Members of the Parliament (MPs) for the support and for the provision of these vehicles.
The initiative not only highlights the commitment of the MBHTE and the BTA to advancing education in the Bangsamoro region but also showcases a collaborative effort to address practical challenges faced by educational institutions.
The provision of speed boats is expected to streamline the mobility of Sulu and Tawi-Tawi Schools Division officials, ultimately contributing to the efficient management and administration of educational services in the region.
