MBHTE successfully turns over School Building Projects in Lamitan City, Commences Construction of Public Madrasah

The Ministry of Basic, Higher and Technical Education through its Education and Facilities Section recently completed the construction of school building classrooms under the Fiscal Year 2022 General Appropriations Act (GAAB) in the Lamitan City Schools Division.

The school beneficiaries are Jose Rizal Elementary School in Brgy. Maganda and Lamitan Central Elementary School in Brgy. Matatag, Lamitan City. The turnover ceremonies for these projects were conducted on Wednesday, January 24, 2024, with the total contract budget of PHP 9,878,641.84.

Simultaneously, the Ministry also conducted a ground breaking ceremony for the construction of a two-story, four-classroom public madrasah at Brgy. Kulay Bato. This project, funded under the Special Development Fund 2021, held its groundbreaking ceremony on Monday, January 22, 2024, with a contract amount of Php 8,101,067.81.

Minister Iqbal has always emphasized the continued commitment of the MBHTE towards the construction of school building projects, extending this ongoing program to all schools division offices, higher education institutions, and TESD training centers. The aim is clear: to ensure that no Bangsamoro learner is left behind.
