MBHTE strengthens financial governance through a 2-day training for AAOs and ERF Handlers, alongside strategic consultations with GSIS, reinforcing accountability and transparency in operations

The Ministry of Basic, Higher and Technical Education (MBHTE) recently held a 2-day training for Agency Authorized Officers (AAO) and ERF Handlers, coupled with a strategic consultation meeting with officials from the Government Service Insurance System (GSIS) in Davao City.

The training aimed to equip participants with the knowledge and skills needed to implement improved policies and standards that will serve as a cornerstone for enhancing the Ministry’s financial operations. By focusing on best practices and efficient processes, the MBHTE seeks to ensure that its financial management aligns with the highest standards of accountability and transparency.

Parallel to the training, the consultation meeting with the GSIS officials was a crucial platform for addressing key issues related to the reconciliation of GSIS premiums and policies. The discussions aimed to resolve discrepancies, streamline processes, and ensure the ease of remittance, ultimately benefiting both the Ministry’s employees and the broader public sector.

These initiatives underscore MBHTE’s commitment to continuous improvement in financial governance and collaboration with essential government partners, setting the stage for more effective and efficient service delivery.
