In a video message aired during the Panduwan na MBHTE (Minstry of Basic Higher and Technical Education) program on Wednesday (Sept 23), Chief Minister Ebrahim said the Bangsamoro government gives importance to the right of the children to education.
“Amidst the pandemic that we face, I can feel how worried the parents are as their children are going back to schools,” the chief minister said in Filipino.
He reminded the thrust of the Bangsamoro government citing “No Bangsamoro child will be left behind.”
ICM Ebrahim said Aug 1-23 is the period for the first education exercises at home, “Thus we should enroll our children despite the pandemic.”
He added that the MBHTE will facilitate the home learning modality wherein the learners will study in their respective home with the assistance of their guardians.
“This initiative is strengthened by MBHTE to assure safety of the learners and the continuity of their learning,” ICM Ebrahim explained.He cited how important also for the Bangsamoro children to follow health standards for their safety when they attend to classes in school once allowed.
“The new normal urges us that our children should be given quality education amidst this Cobid-19 pandemic,” he underscored.Urging everyone to help in the education of Bangsamoro children, he cited “We all have role to play to level up the quality of education in the whole region.”
