The Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM), represented by the Ministry of Basic, Higher and Technical Education (MBHTE), will be competing in 19 events in the 2024 National Festival of Talents (NFOT) on July 9-1, 2024, in Naga City, Cebu.

Said events include Fruit & Vegetable Carving, Food Processing, Dressmaking, Electrical Installation & Maintenance, Recycling Waste Materials, Technical Drafting, Kasaysayan Quiz, Pop Quiz, Extemporaneous Speech, Story Retelling, Oratorical Composition and Presentation, Oral Reading Interpretation, Muling Pagkukwento, Sulat Bigkas Talumpati, Interpretatibong Pagbasa, STEMazing, Harf Touch, Oration (Nasheedah), and Reading Qur’an.

Vice President Sara Duterte lead the declaration of the opening of the week-long activity with the theme “Galing, Talino, at Husay ng mga Batang Makabansa sa Diwa ng MATATAG na Adhika”.

NFOT is a Department of Education’s (DepEd) annual co-curricular activity that provides meaningful learning opportunities for basic education learners to display their talents and skills anchored on the learning competencies achieved in school.
