The Ministry of Basic, Higher and Technical Education, through its Directorate General for Madaris Education, renewed 659 Contract of Service Islamic Studies and Arabic Language (ISAL) Teachers-Asaatidz in the Schools Division of Sulu.
This was after the signing of contracts held last May 10-11, 2023 at Sulu National High School which aimed to lengthen the presence of religious educators and recognize Islamic studies as venue for balanced education among Muslim learners.
The renewal will be for July to December 2023.
These ISAL Teachers-Asaatidz in Sulu are categorized as Kulliyah and non-Kulliyah (provisional) status with a monthly salary of Php 16,200 and Php 12,000.00, respectively.
Alongside this renewal, a site visitation and validation for the land donated by Mayor Whidzfar Indanan Sahidulla for the proposed public Madrasah was also conducted.
