The Ministry of Basic, Higher and Technical Education (MBHTE) joined today, August 13, in Manila, a meeting with the Department of Education (DepEd) officials led by newly-appointed Secretary Sen. Sonny Angara.

The meeting aimed to foster stronger collaboration and discuss strategic initiatives for educational development in the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM).

Officials both from the MBHTE and DepEd engaged in productive discussions focusing on key issues and potential areas of cooperation. The dialogue emphasized the importance of aligning educational policies and programs to ensure that both agencies work towards common goals, particularly in enhancing access to quality education in BARMM.

Furthermore, they expressed optimism about future partnerships, where these two key educational bodies are expected to work on a significant improvement in the delivery of educational services, ultimately benefiting the students and communities.
