The Ministry of Basic, Higher and Technical Education (MBHTE) will be constructing a PhP 41,064,000-worth dormitory for the students of Upi Agricultural School (UAS), following the groundbreaking ceremony held Tuesday, January 23.
According to MBHTE Minister Mohagher Iqbal, this initiative prioritizes the needs of indigenous (IP) students in Upi, aligning with the Ministry’s focus on inclusivity.
UAS recognizes the need for quality accommodation, particularly for indigenous students, and is addressing it comprehensively with this project.
As one of the leading institutions in agricultural education in Maguindanao Province, UAS stands committed to fostering diversity.
As the construction progresses, UAS looks forward to providing students, especially indigenous ones, with a modern, well-equipped dormitory that will contribute to their overall growth and success.
