In a ceremony held as part of the 5th Bangsamoro Foundation Day Celebration, the Ministry of Basic, Higher and Technical Education (MBHTE) marked a significant milestone with the official unveiling and turnover of the two-storey Tawi-Tawi Division Office building held yesterday, January 23, 2024.
Subsidized under the Special Development Fund (SDF) 2020, the building was worth PHP 38,960,690.40.
The turnover was presided by MBHTE Director General (DG) for Basic Education Abdullah Salik, Jr., together with the Tawi-Tawi OIC-Schools Division Superintendent Dr. Lermalyn J. Sangogot, Provincial Administrator Mobin Gampal, and Board Member Dr. Sukarno Asri.
This initiative emphasized the Bangsamoro Government’s commitment to community development through strategic initiatives aimed at fortifying local infrastructure and educational facilities. The projects represent a concerted effort toward the advancement of Tawi-Tawi province.
