MBHTE turns over P20.7M-worth of school building at SGA

A 2-storey with 10-classroom school building project worth P20,735,000.00 was turned over by the Ministry of Basic, Higher and Technical Education (MBHTE) to Kibayao High School in Carmen, Special Geographic Area (SGA) of BARMM.

In his speech, Deputy Minister Haron S. Meling recognized the people of Kibayao who have sacrificed during the height of the Bangsamoro struggle and also emphasized the importance of preserving the gains of GPH-MILF Peace Process.

SGA Development Authority Administrator Butch Malang, who was also in the activity, said “education can transform an individual to become productive citizen for his/her community.”

“This can only be safeguarded if the young generations will possess the Moral Values (correct Aqeedah), a vision sealed with unity through communication, patience, and sacrifice for the interest of common good,” Malang added.

Words of gratitude for the creation of BARMM resulting to this beneficial project were explicitly expressed by SGA Schools Division Superintendent Dr. Edgar S. Sumapal, Al-hajj.

This event was also graced by other esteemed guests from the MBHTE Regional Office, Schools Division of SGA, and Local Government Unit officials.
