MBHTE Update

165 scholars of the 2022 Bangsamoro Scholarship Program for TVET (BSPTVET) Food Security Program graduated yesterday, March 14, 2023, at Kabacan, North Cotabato.

This was after the completion of their trainings on Agricultural Crops Production NC II, Animal Production (Poultry-Chicken) NC II, Pest Management (Vegetables) NC II, and Organic Agriculture Production NC II.

In line with the Development Goal No. 5 of the 1st Bangsamoro Development Plan 2020-2022, the BSPTVET aims to provide skills development and continuing education and training to disadvantaged groups. Further, it ensures delivery and access to quality services for human capital development.

Beneficiaries of these trainings are farmers and fisherfolk aged 15 years and above. This scholarship program provides free skills training, free and mandatory competency assessment, values transformation training, Php 180.00 per day as training support fund, Php 500.00 for internet allowance, and two (2) sets of workshop uniforms.

The Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Agrarian Reform (MAFAR), Datu Ibrahim Paglas Memorial College, Inc., Libungan Torreta Education and Technology Academy Inc., Kadayangan Academy Inc., Pagalungan Training and Assessment Center, Inc., and Upi Agricultural School served as the partner offices and institutions during the event.
