A meet-and-greet activity between Minister Mohagher M. Iqbal and Tawi-Tawi scholars of the Access to Higher and Modern Education (AHME) Scholarship Program was held last Sunday, May 14, 2023, at Tawi-Tawi Gymnasium.
Minister Iqbal was with Asst. Regional Cabinet Secretary Atty. Sittie Mariam Balahim, Chief Legal Officer Atty. Mojahid Guro, and Director Generals Abdullah Salik, Jr. (Basic), Prof. Tahir Nalg (Madaris), Ruby Andong (Technical), and Marjuni Maddi (Higher).
Out of 446 total beneficiaries, over 300 students covering the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd cohorts attended the activity.
As of writing, application for the 100 slots for the 4th cohort in the said province is still ongoing.
